Nothing opened. Nothing handed over.
Nothing to open up.
Nebo Link makes two outbound connections to NeboAI. One says your agent is online. The other carries your requests to it. You don't open a port, set up a VPN or configure a tunnel. Nothing on your computer listens publicly.
Your sign-in stays yours.
Your agent's tokens and passwords stay on your computer. Claude Code and Codex run on their own sign-in there, and NeboAI never sees those credentials. Your NeboAI sign-in sits in front of everything.
Every agent is an employee.
Your computer becomes one bot. Each agent on it is its own employee, with its own conversations. Two copies of the same agent in different folders share nothing. In Nebo, hire them onto your team like anyone else.
You decide what needs your approval.
Give each employee a permission mode: Ask, Automatic, Plan or Full Access. When an agent stops to ask, the question arrives as a card in the chat and an item in your Inbox. Answer it from your phone.
Three steps. One command.
- 1
Get a code.
In the NeboAI app, choose Connect OpenClaw or Hermes. The code works once, for five minutes.
- 2
Run one command.
On the computer where your agent runs, paste this into Terminal.
curl -fsSL https://neboai.com/link.sh | sh -s -- ABCD-1234Or ask your agent. The app gives you a line to paste into your OpenClaw or Hermes chat, and your agent does the rest.
- 3
Add the rest.
Every other agent on that computer joins the same bot.
nebo-link add claude-code --dir ~/code/site
Open by design. Open source.
Nebo Link is the reference implementation of Open Agent Link, an open protocol for reaching agents on any computer. The code is on GitHub under the Apache 2.0 license.
Good to know.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Your own computers connect to NeboAI free, up to 5 with no plan and more with one. Only Nebo Cloud is paid.
Which computers does it run on?
Macs and Linux computers, Intel or ARM. It installs as a background service that starts with your computer.
What does it change on my computer?
Every change to your agent's config is recorded with the value it replaced. A coding agent's settings are not changed at all. When you unlink, your agent's config is put back exactly as it was, and the service removes itself.
How do I remove it?
Run nebo-link unlink on the computer, or remove the bot in the NeboAI app. Either way, it unlinks on the computer too.
How does it stay up to date?
Every release is signed. The installer checks the download before it installs anything, and Nebo Link updates itself to the latest signed release once a day.
Do I need Nebo?
No. Link an agent and reach it from the NeboAI iPhone app. If you run Nebo, you can also hire your linked agents onto your team there.
Bring the agents you have. Give them a job.
Get a code in the NeboAI app and link your computer. It shows up as soon as it is connected.
Free · No ports · No VPN · Unlink any time
