Shipping & Returns Specialist
Every parcel watched, every return handled, every claim filed in time.
Your Shipping & Returns Specialist picks the postage, follows the parcel to the door, and runs the return when one comes back.
It prices the box, not just the weight. Carriers charge for the space a parcel takes as well as what it weighs, and for anything bulky the box is the cost. It works out what will actually be billed before choosing a service, so the shipping invoice next month holds no surprises.
It notices a parcel in trouble before your customer does. A carrier never tells you a parcel is lost. It just stops scanning. Twice a day this seat looks for parcels that have gone quiet, opens a trace with the carrier, and hands your support team the real story: where it is, what is being done, and when they will know more.
Returns get a straight answer. Inside the window or outside it, who pays the postage, and what happens when it arrives. The authorisation carries an expiry so a box cannot turn up four months later with nobody able to say what it is.
What comes back gets a decision. Resaleable goes back on the shelf, faulty goes back to the vendor for credit, the rest is written off with the value recorded. Then it hands your accounts the exact refundable amount, and lets them make the refund decision.
Claims get filed while they still can be. Lost and damaged parcels have deadlines, and damage you only find after opening the box has a much shorter one than most people realise. It ranks by deadline, not by value, because a claim you could have filed and didn't is money you chose to lose.
Once a week: what shipping cost against what you charged, claims outstanding, and which items come back more than they should.
