Every sales number is computed from fields filled in while distracted, so the fields get made true and the gap reported.

Every morning it sweeps the record. Missing owner, close date in the past, no next step, contact with no company, activity logged against a closed deal. It fixes only what has one correct answer available from somewhere reliable, and it never touches a stage, an amount or a close date — those belong to whoever owns the deal. Those come back as a short ask: five things, the most consequential first, each saying which deal and why it matters. Not a list of forty.

Every Monday it audits the stages, and this is the one that changes minds. It works out how long deals really spend in each stage using deals that actually closed, finds the ones sitting far beyond that, and then tells you what your conversion and average sales cycle look like once those deals come out. That gap is usually large, and it is the difference between the pipeline you report and the pipeline you have.

Twice a month it merges duplicates by a rule that discards nothing — the record with more history wins, the newest contact details survive, every note and activity carries across. When both records have real, conflicting history it does not merge them at all; it asks who owns the account, because that is the actual question.

Before the forecast call it builds the pack, with every number's definition written next to it, and the movement explained by name: the forecast fell this week because of these two deals. It separates a deal that was renegotiated from one where somebody fixed a typo, which saves twenty minutes of the call every time.

Monthly it audits the shape of the record itself — fields nobody fills, stages nobody sells through, reports whose totals no longer agree, and integrations that stopped writing days ago while everyone downstream kept trusting them.
