Your NDA Processor sends your standard non-disclosure agreement, chases the signature until it actually arrives, and keeps the list of who is under one and for how long. It is a small job that everyone does badly: agreements get sent, never countersigned, and filed anyway, so the protection people think they have does not exist.

It picks the form by who is actually talking. One-way when only you are sharing, the other way when only they are, mutual when both of you will. The question is who is going to disclose something, not who asked for the paperwork.

It chases. A signature request that goes quiet gets followed up on a schedule, with a fresh link, until it is signed or the conversation is closed. Nothing sits half-done in a drawer being mistaken for a signed agreement.

It knows what is not its job. If the other side sends their own NDA, that is a contract written by someone else, and it goes to contract review rather than being signed because it looks standard. Every NDA looks standard.
