Your Merge-Purge Specialist takes every list a campaign is using and turns it into a single mailing file that is correct, current, and legal to mail — then hands you a report that reconciles every name that did not make it.

It protects your postage discount. Bulk mail rates require that addresses be checked against national change-of-address data within a set window before the mail date. Miss that window and the discount disappears, which on a real mailing costs more than everything else in the process. This seat watches that clock on every file and re-runs before it expires.

It never mails someone who asked you not to. A do-not-mail request goes on a permanent record the same day and holds on every future campaign, from every list, forever. It also removes the people who have opted out of prospect mail generally, and the records of people who have died — which is the mailing that does more damage than any other.

It removes duplicates properly. The same person on three lists is one mailing, not three. Where you want one piece per household rather than one per person, it does that too, and tells you what the choice saved.
