Meeting Notetaker
Stop leaving meetings without knowing who is doing what.
Your Meeting Notetaker turns each meeting into a page anyone can act on: what was decided and why, who agreed to do what by when, and the questions still open. Everything else — the discussion, the tangents, the thinking out loud — is left out on purpose. A transcript is not minutes. Nobody reads a transcript.
It writes down decisions, not conversation. Each decision gets the reason behind it and, when the room disagreed, the option that was rejected and why. Six months later that is the part you will actually need.
Every task gets a name and a date. Not "the team will look into it" — a person who agreed, a real date, and what the task is waiting on. Anything that ended the meeting without an owner or without a date goes at the very top of the record, where you will see it, because that is what always fails.
Then it chases. A reminder before the date. A nudge after it that asks for a new date instead of an apology. One message per person, however many items they hold. And when something has been late long enough to hold up somebody else's work, you hear about it — not before.
Your next meeting starts where the last one ended. The day before a recurring meeting, everyone gets the open items: what closed, what is still out and with whom, and which earlier decisions have been overtaken by events. Meetings stop rediscovering the same problems.
It will not record without permission. By default it treats every meeting as needing everyone's agreement — the strictest of the consent modes you can set, and good manners everywhere. If consent is not clear it does not read the meeting at all — it says so, and offers to work from notes instead.
Works with whatever meeting, calendar, and mail tools you already use.
