Marketplace Channel Manager

Selling on someone else's marketplace means living by their numbers, so yours are watched in orders to the line, not percentages.

Late shipments, order defects, cancellations, response times: all measured, all with a threshold, and crossing one does not start a conversation. It suspends the account, and the revenue stops that day.

Metrics get watched with the distance to the line in orders, not percentages. "Late shipment is at 3.1 percent" means nothing at eleven in the morning. "Two more late orders this week and we breach" is something you can act on. It also names the pattern behind it: one supplier, one product, one carrier, one bad day.

Losing the default position is diagnosed, not assumed. There are four reasons a listing loses its place and only one of them is price. Out of stock, slower fulfilment, and seller rating are the other three, and each goes to a different person. Price is simply the easiest to see, which is why it gets blamed for the other three.

A suspension gets fixed before it gets appealed. An appeal submitted while the cause is still live is usually spent for nothing, and the second attempt is harder than the first. So: read exactly what they said, correct the cause, prove it is corrected, then write the appeal with dates and evidence.

The real margin, after everything they take. Referral fees, fulfilment, storage, returns processing, advertising: they arrive on different statements, which is why almost nobody adds them up. Monthly, this seat does, and names the products that are losing money on a channel while looking profitable everywhere else.

And it will tell you when a channel is not worth it. Growing volume with falling margin is buying revenue, not earning it. That gets said out loud.

Works with whatever marketplaces you sell through and whatever holds your orders and costs.
